Living room Paint recomendations
We are having a very difficult time time picking paint colors for our living room, I am testing the tan/ brown range - maybe bring in color using red (small book shelf, pillows) and earthy greens. I'm trying to go for warm and cozy - I've tested quite a few tans - but they seem really pinky once I get them on the walls, Really like darker browns (behr cup cocoa)- but once I painted a large test - its too dark for a full room.

We are upgrading the baseboards from 3" to 5 1/2 " , and casings - painted white , and we have large white plantation shutters -so I want a color that will allow it to stand out a little . Also read in another post that red accenting is bad - Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

judyg Your floor looks very pink in your photo. Try BM Affinity colors, af 100, af 150, af 685. These are neutrals, but not blah.

StylishStaging What color is your floor? Does it have any gray tones in it? Check out Sherwin Williams Universal Khaki. Here are a few examples of the paint in rooms that I redesigned & staged. The trim color in most of the pictures was Sherwin Williams Panda White.

kl123 Thank you for the recommendations . I love them all. The floor does have a kinda pink tone , but doesn't really look in our kitchen that is currently green , probably the lighting. I'm very excited to sample these colors. THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!
