Perhaps a sage green or a buttery cream (hint of yellow) paint for the walls! Good luck....

Of course countertop choice, flooring and backsplash needs to be considered when deciding on a paint color...good luck....

I think it's a personal choice...do you have a lot of natural light in the kitchen? I personally, enjoy a brighter kitchen! Others do not! Do you have light or dark floors? What color are the appliances? Are you installing a backsplash? I think that paint color will work too! However, you need to consider all other "design parts," before making any final decisions. Counter-intuitively, the paint should be the LAST thing you decide in the space....good luck... :)

Thanks so much for your advice!

The backslash will be the same as the countertop: river gold granite. The appliances will be stainless steel.

I actually like the second color you suggested. I think it will work in my kitchen! By any chance do you know the exact name of the color?

Thanks again!

I love Benjamin Moore Rattan. It's in their Affinity line, which is great for someone like me because the hues are all supposed to coordinate. You can easily mix and match your colors.
I used the Rattan with Coastline Blue. Coastline is a beautiful light/med. blue, depending on the light in your room, and if you throw in a few navy or red accents for punch, you're room will look terrific.
But the last poster is correct, paint colors are a personal choice.
