Bedroom colour ideas needed
My bedroom is absolutely tiny
Has a built in wardrobe and I have a kingsize bed
There is just no room for any other furniture at all
But I hate the radiator under the window
And I've tried to keep the bedding light and add green to freshen it up
They are my favorite colours and need to keep the room feeling big
I think adding dark colours will close the room and make it look smaller
But It's boring an I want to add something to make it feel a bit more luxurious
Ideas welcome

Patricia Pelgrims Bedside tables. You do have space for them.
I also abhore radiators, fortunately you can case them in with radiator cabinets.
The wall opposite the window looks bleak, so that could do with some colour, either by painting it or by hanging some artwork, picking up the colours of your bedspread and cushion.
Personaly I am not fond of tv's in a bedroom, but if you do, then put it on a narrow but wider side board or cabinet.

Having said that, I think you have great style and I like the colour injection you have given with the green accessories.

carissajane12 Thankyou
But what colour bedside cabinets would you add
White or same as the bed ?
I hate the tv in the room too
It's my partner who wants it
He plans to hang it on the wall behind the bedroom door so you'll never see it

Thankyou for you're ideas

Patricia Pelgrims You could go either way with the colour of the bedside cabinets. It doesn't have to match the colour of the bed, so can go for white-ish. It will work with the rest of the room.
Personally I would go for white, because the room is on the small side. If you would take the colour of the bed it would make it too opressive, I think.
We have a white bedframe combined with antique wood bedside tables. It works because the darker wood colours have been picked up with other furniture in the room, as you can see in the pics below.

olldbobbi If green is your favorite color, you could pick a shade you like and paint an accent wall behind the bed, then reduce it by 50% and paint the other three walls. I agree with Patricia's advice about getting a rad cover, they make some pretty ones these days. Your bed is very pretty! You've done a good job with that.

carissajane12 Thankyou both on the compliments of my bed

Patrisha you're bedroom is lovely I are what you mean about the colours so I think I will go with white bedside tables

I'm a bit nervous about painting the wall behind my bed
Don't want it to be too bold and make the too feel smaller
I will definitely get a radiator cover
My partner had already made one for the hallway as he is a joiner so that comes in at no extra cost with his job
If I was to paint the wall at the side of the bed would u recommend a sage green or brighter green ?
Still in the middle of painting my living room so quiet new to adding feature walls with paint
Although I've gone all out and a bit dramatic in there
It's come as quiet a shock and still trying to get used to it

Thankyou for advice

olldbobbi For paint color, I would take one of the greens from your bed to the paint store and have them match it but reduce it by 50%. I doubt it will make the room look smaller.

carissajane12 Thankyou I am going to try this this weekend
Would you still put the wall quote over the top and the butterflies?

Home Preppers I love oldbobbi's ideas. I personally wouldn't cover the radiators for 3 reasons. 1, it makes them less efficient since they work by air circulating up and around them, and covering them hinders this process, and 2, if you add end tables, which I woudl suggest, you will have wood next to wood, which might be too much, ,and 3, they do add charm and interst to a room.

I love the bed, great color! You have done a wonderful job so far.

Eileen R You could get those small table rounds as end tables and cover them with green fabric for extra texture , and in same fabric do a few pillows or find some mismatched wooden tables or metal at a garage sale? and paint them the apple green ..love the green
