Centsible Designs, LLC Love the cats! A bench is the right idea - but make it as wide as the window so that it looks almost like a window seat. If you can't find one the right size, custom benches are not really that expensive. Then how about a tall book case to the left, or possibly a wide demi-lune table with a lamp and some books on it. A runner in front of the bench would add some softness and color, but it looks like your hallway is large and has lots of angles so a runner might be awkward there... Good luck and have fun!
