What to do with this big room?
This room is used as both a dining room and a living room. It has high ceilings, a wall of door walls and windows across from a wood paneled wall with wood burning stove. How would I arrange the furniture in this large room to separate the two spaces? Know any tricks to make a big room cozy?

NOTE: These are not our furnishings. Our style is best described as mid-century modern/eclectic. We have simple teak table and buffet and a white leather couch.

Thanks for your ideas!

Michael Kilpatrick Design Can you include a photo of the missing wall. Take the photo from the corner where the secretary is to get the wall behind the white arm chair.

reinac77 I'm thinking of changing the wood to reclaimed barn wood instead of painting it. Also, any suggestions on a warm wheat paint color? I like grays and golds together, so I think it will complement the wood. WOuld you paint the ceiling the same as the wall? there is sooo much ceiling...
