Narrow Blue Bathroom Transformation Help
I have a narrow 50s style blue tile and blue mosaic flooring bathroom. To not break the bank (which is the goal) My handyman suggested 1) pedestal/wall mounted sink 2) spray painting tile with epoxy 3) laying down Allure floating floor and 4) going white. These seem options for a rental. I own this house. What are my more permanent and inexpensive options here? Thanks in advance!

First thoughts: We are always hesitant to use pedestal sinks where counter space and storage are necessary. We have never seen painted ceramic tile look very good...
There are always great solutions, we just need to see a few pictures and you will get lots and lots of help from Houzz!

Here are a few thoughts: If you want to keep the tile (budget choice) the room could look fresh and great with the aqua tile, crisp white walls, ceiling, and plumbing fixtures, and aqua and bright yellow or lime green accessories (in a shade that works with the aqua).
A white pedestal sink with a large top would look great, provide some counter, and is generally less expensive than a sink with cabinet. You could add a mirrored medicine cabinet (storage) and sconces on either side of the mirror (75watts minimum each). Sconces should be no further apart than 36" on center and the place on the sconce where the light shines out should be located approximately level with the sides of your face or a bit higher. Check Restoration Hardware for good looks at a reasonable price on all of these items.
You could then hang an additional cabinet above the toilet for more storage. White bath rugs would look great on the exisitng aqua tile floor, unless you have dogs and small children in which case multi colored cotton rugs would look great and be more soil hiding. Check Garnet Hill.
Then I would finish with a simple white roman shade at the window. Even Ikea has some good ones in standard window sizes and if you mount the shade outside the window (rahter than inside the frame) you do not need to be as precise on size so you can use a ready-made shade.
Good luck!!!
What's your opinion on the floating floor (Allure - Home Depot) option for the easy installation over existing tile for the bathroom floor? Also - i'm not a big fan of the hardwood floors in the bathrooms but I was told that the Allure flooring holds up well with moisture.
Again, i appreciate your suggestions! Thank you!
