Need color palette for open floor plan
My challenge is combining colors in living, dining, kitchen ad breakfast
rooms that are all open to each other. I love SW coastal cool color
palette but not sure how to combine them so they flow. The living
room and dining room has 15 ft ceilings and remainder of home has nine ft ceilings. . I am drawn to recycled glass or sea salt for rather large living room wall, lemongrass for kitchen , dining and breakfast and comfort grey for master suite but would really appreciate some guidance. My goal is to try and define the spaces with color if possible.
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Gloria

decoenthusiaste As long as your trim and flooring are consistent you should have no trouble with the "flow" of the coastal palette. It might be easier to pick one color like the glass or salt, then work the different shaes of the color chip all through the open spaces (light shades for darker areas and darker shades for those that receive great natural light.) For the closed off areas, use the gray in the master, others you like in the other bedrooms and baths, lemon in the kitchen. Sprinkle some of the lemon throughout any of the space that has a view of the kitchen, in art, accessories, rugs.

Dytecture In open concept spaces, it's easier to start with one color throughout and change if needed.
