Please help pull our new dinning room together.
Old furniture already at nephews. New furniture ordered and should arrive in a couple of weeks. Should I keep the picture, the parsons chairs? The old buffet is being refinished and the hardware is pictured. Any suggestions to pull it all together will be appreciated.

decoenthusiaste How many chairs did you order with your set? I wouldn't ditch the Parson's chairs yet. They might work as masters with your new table and chairs. Or you migh find a way to use them in a foyer or other spot. I don't think the picture reflects the elegant tone of the chandy and your new set. It is a bit to contemporary even just against the formal wainscot. Will you be doing an area rug under the table. Is the upholstery on the chairs as in the photo? I would set a colorway by finding an area rug. It must be 4' longer and wider than the table. Once that is done you can nail down art and other accessories but set your anchor piece first.

thelmalouisemom Sorry, I was out of town today. Late responding. I just ordered six chairs, because I had hoped I would be able to use the parsons chairs. If I can't, I can always order the captain chairs that match the set. I kind of like not so matchy, matchy!!!! I bought an abstract painting today and a runner. Will take pictures later and post. Thank you so much for your help. Please let me know if you have any other thoughts. I am very anxious to get the furniture so I can finish this project and move on to the next.
