Help! Furniture arranging in playroom
Our room over the garage is my daughters playroom / office. I can't seem to make sense of the decor and furniture arrangement for the life of me. There is a left book and right nook. Left is currently play kitchen area, right is an "art corner " with easel. On the left main wall are bookshelves and entertainment center with tv. Far wall is window with roman shade and storage basket/bench, left wall is storage bench/baskets and where her dollhouse usually sits. We have two gigantic beanbags which I'm not sure where to put.

I'm open to rearranging everything! I love everything on its own, I just feel like I haven't pulled it together well. PLEASE HELP!

Jayme Hobbs How perfectly sweet room is!! Maybe a nook area would be best for the beanbags..Kids love little snuggly areas....sort of a resting/reading nook...too much lining the walls...Can one of those long units stand upright vs. long ways on floor?

Leslie Waters Thanks for taking the time to comment! Yes, those bin holders can stand up tall ways. Where would you recommend I move them (or just one, which one, etc) should i relocate the easel and use that nook for the bean bags? All help appreciated, I am a novice!

rosariaabc Try not to put all the furniture around the outside of the room. Prehaps a rug may pull the room together! Look at the other playroom ideas on this sight!

groveraxle What first strikes me is that the play kitchen goes around an outside corner. It's an odd configuration. Can it be moved to the upper level and form an L-shape by that half wall?

Then I would put the pink chair in that nook with a little rug and make it a reading corner. Take the storage unit that's now on the wall and stand it up where the pink chair was. Then put the beanbags on that wall.
