Please, NEED HELP deciding what color should be the trim !!!
This is the mud room. The desk is gone and we will have a mudroom bench from floor to ceiling. The chair rail and wainscoting will be white and we are thinking maybe a light gray, or sand color (I don't know yet) for the wall above.

The big door hides the washer and dryer, there is also a closet, a door to go to the backyard, a bathroom and a door to go to the kitchen (so many doors in a small space). All the doors will remain the same color, but the trim around the whole house will be white.

Should we paint the trim around the doors white to match the rest of the trim, or leave it as it is to match the doors?. Would it be better to have the bench stained (we are thinking darker, the same stain that we will use to reface the built-ins in the family room - mission oak on alder), or paint it white?. Thank you in advance for all your suggestions !!!

eagledzines Leave the trim around the doors that same color as the doors. I would suggest painting the bench white. If you think it is going to take a beating, I would try to match the stain of the doors.
