Which wall to pick for accent?
I'm about to renovate this whole living/dining area. I'm set on a white/cream/navy color theme with the hardwood floors but can't decide which wall to paint in blue. Help?

stevensobti I think I would do the main front wall blue, and the rest a light grey or a cream color. It will stand out with the hardwood floors, and you could also match the blue on the wall with perhaps blue accents and decor.

marie Hi Steven. Thanks! By main wall you mean the one behind the dining table right?? Would keeping the other walls white rather than cream be too harsh a contrast?

Dytecture I would take a look of the structure of the space and paint accordingly.

groveraxle If one wall doesn't announce itself as the accent wall, perhaps it means you shouldn't paint one. I wouldn't do anything to darken what looks to be already a fairly dark space. You can do a fabulous white/cream/navy scheme without an accent wall:
