Window coverings for familyroom/kitchens slider
The windows have 2 " blinds. I'm not sure if I can talk the hubby into taking them down, but I know they need something. Thank you!

maggiemae0552 The blinds on the windows are fine for now, but the room definitely needs some art, texture & color - that's what's missing. The space needs to be "warmed up". Drapes hung on bronze rods for the windows and the sliding door.

boyzx3 So do you think the drapes would be okay behind the love seat?

Engrav's Decorating It looks like you have white walls? I would give the walls a warm neutral. You could do valances with in a color and place a few patterned pillows on the sofa. Happy Decorating.

blindsdirectcanada Roman Valences would really soften up the space and give you a more finished look.

maggiemae0552 drapes behind the loveseat would be fine - just dont let the loveseat mash into the curtains. in fact if space allows a small sofa table behind the loveseat might look nice.

blindsdirectcanada If you add drapery you will have to move your couch out a good few inches and its a lot of drapery .

boyzx3 We have given the table behind the loveseat some thought. It would center the room a little better, too. I really appreciate everyone's opinion. Keep them coming. :-)

Ruth Ann Chaplik-Secreto Ascot v shaped valances in a texture or pattern would add interest.
