Can anyone recommend what i use this space in my house for. It sits off my lounge/kitchen , and please in your recommendation can you state how you would do it up?

XCLUSIVE INTERIORS i'm not sure if its a home, since it is opposite to kitchen area use it for coffee or breakfast lounge with high rise corian top and high chairs along the full wall side, with hanging lights if possible. also you can place two single seaters along the side walls.
cheers-vidya rao.

Ironwood Builders Hi! A banquette is a built in bench, sometimes upholstered and sometimes wraparound. Table in the middle? Like a diner?

Sharon I'd make it cosy reading nook. Or somewhere to retire to with a glass of wine after a long day. What about a computer/study/office area?

harel hi Sharon, that was my initial purpose for building the area - cosy reading/wine area. any suggestions on how or what i should do to achieve this?

Wendy Allison I would also suggest a wine storage area with racks similar to the image.

Orca Wave A great built in reading nook with shelves built arround or an outdoor wicker or clean lines wrought iron love seat with 2 comfy padded chairs (outdoor garden set) around a low coffee table with plants on back wall of 2 floating shelves and trendy bar frigs in corner for refreshments as side tables with lamps Or put electric fireplace on back wall and 2 garden type love seats instead . Or make the whole space a wine bar with hanging lights and back wall of glasses, on glass shelves with those small white lights.
Defiitely for all designs add music !

louiseh I can see that you already have a seating/tv area and a dining area to the room. I would rack it out put a door over it and make it a massive walk in larder, storage room. In my experience you can have enough of it in a kitchen.
Either that or if it isnt a supporting wall, see if you can have the left wall taken out.

dlapollo put something large in the space
a large sofa with a desk and computer
a tv
large in a small space; makes it look rich

amgraham why you put doors on it and use it for a big walk in pantry or for storage. or if u already have enough storage u could put a desk in it and use it as a study area

Sharon Hi Harel, you could try a raised platform day bed with loads of cushions, and book storage underneath or two overstuffed chairs with a statement rug. If you search ' reading nooks' on this site you can see a bunch. I tried to attach here for you but sadly failed

7lexi7 what are the dimensions of the space? I can see some nice lighting to show off the brick, and a built in desk, open decorative shelves...
