Genevieve if you are keeping the bricks then I would go with something like them only in a different colour ,a coulour that would also compliment your counter top

Genevieve It depends on what you choose ,by the look of your kitchen decor it tells me that you like country ,therefore I would stay within that theme or you could go Tuscan and get these styles

in my previous home I had plain ceramic that looked like linen and every so often a patterned tile to give it character I wish that I still had those in this kitchen .
