What color paint should I do with a khaki colored couch and my area rug is dark brown and shades of blue
What color paint should I choose to go with the couch and area rug?

momsie8 If you like shades of blue, I would go with the blue color in the rug. If you don't like blues, the rust color in the rug would be a nice option, too.

Tres McKinney Design Brown walls in either the darker or lighter shade in the rug with ivory colored trim. Add smokey blue pillows and ivory ceramic lamp bases and ceramics to compliment the darker walls. This will give you a warm dramatic look. If you prefer a softer color palette then you could paint the walls the blue in the rug and accent with ivory and brown patterned pillows . But be sure the room can handle a cool color like blue without making the space feel cold. Blue walls will require a lot of natural light.
