First timer decorating with no plan what's so ever
I need help its my first time decorating a house !! It all started with this carpet that was on sale for like $75 and then my husband went and got a curtain to keep the blazing sun away now since we will be staying here in KSA longer then usual we have to start building our home. and I don't know if I should keep the curtain and rug together or change the curtain? Since its seems matchy matchy Also now my other problem is what type of sofa will fit into this room the hight of the room is 11ft and wight 12ft i was thinking of custom making a L shape sofa since custom making things here is soo cheap also I would love it if u tell me what color should the walls, sofa and pillows be!! I love lil pillows

Please if u can post pics because I have a bad imagination system

And By the way the apartments here come a pouch of rooms and u Just make one of them a living room and so it's four lil walls were working with

www.etsy.com/shop/NewJerseyAccents Unless you absolutely love that rug, I would return both. You're starting with accessories. I think you should buy furniture first.

olldbobbi I LOVE your rug!!! I would build my room around it. Since colors vary on monitors, I'm guessing it's blue/gray with off-white and gold? Is that correct? It should be the star of your room. Have black or dark gray furniture made and it will be perfect.

Donna Talley love the rug! not sure about the curtain. i would paint the walls dark gray, use pops of color in accessories, and sprinkle lots of shiny metallic and glass finishes around ( lamps, art, mirrored tables...)
