Need help for my backyard
I have a blank slate fenced in yard and like southwest design , but live in MD - I don't like anything traditional !

ellainusa So far so good , we just had grass installed , landscaping will be done later ;) we also had to have a rotted tree removed but left the stump so I have my throne , if You look close its in the back ;)

eztia Yes! Put a fire pit in front of the throne, and a semicircle banco on the opposite side. Good for telling stories and toasting marshmallows.

claudiann If you like southwest I would get some large boulders. Put them in islands of rock for low maintenance. Add potted plants to the beds in season. I would put an island around the throne and add some plantings. Maybe some ornamental grass and get some stumps of wood in different heights to put potted plants on. It looks kind of creepy all by itself.
