Exterior modifications for new renovation project
My latest renovation project...forty year old home currently under renovation - inside and out. A new first floor master suite is barely under construction off to the rear left. Would like to hear comments about how to build character to the front exterior . Existing brick front, vinyl sides and rear. Open to painting the brick for a monochromatic look and dropping all shutters except small front porch area. Perhaps a copper weather vane on the far right (lowest) roof line. Any other character building ideas?

judyg This photo shows up all the time here o houzz. But it a great inspiration picture for brick and clapboard homes. Soft, neutral and authentic shutters.
