Rolling cabinet door??????????????????
Here's my idea....we are in the process of remodeling, (major remodel-lord help us!!!) our downstairs bath next to the toilet there is a wall-I need the storage space so decided to recess some shelving here.(left hand side as you are sitting on the throne). Now here is the idea and dilemma- my husband says no problem except shelving needs to start 22" off the floor. This is due to males using the bathroom-if you know what I mean. My husband says no way can we us anything lower due to the "splatter". I understand this, I guess, but do not want to waste 22" of storage space-so I thougth well let's just put a door on the bottom shelf-"cabinet door", but then how to open it??? It can't swing due to not enough space between toilet and wall... so then super idea... what if the door would glide????? I could just move it to the right when I needed to get to this area. Now here is the problem, can not find any info on gliding cabinet doors. The door would be approx size of a kitchen cabinet door. Has this been invented before or am I just a genius??? Please be kind when you reply:)LOL I am sure if this would work-someone/somewhere has used this technique before, I just can't find it:( Okay gang, there you have it, thanks for the help, let me know what you think:)

Scott Design, Inc. I like the Rustica Hardware example because there is no floor track. I can just imagine how the splattering will accumulate....Rustica, does this hardware come in a variety of sizes?
