Paint color for bathroom?
I was thinking of something neutral and darker, like a SW Ecru or SW Ethereal Mood. The tiles are a light beige.

Any thoughts?

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Not being a big fan of beige, I would like you to add life to this bath with some color. You might consider SW Tidewater, a watery blue/green. But I do like Ethereal Mood you mentioned which is a dark greenish gray. Can it live happily with your tile? Before you buy a gallon or so of anything, I suggest you buy a sample jug and paint a poster board with 2 coats of the color. Check it out in daylight if there is any, and at night also, if you have electricity.

mafa2004 What about a deep lavender? I have a medium brown vanity

Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design I don't think I would like lavender with your oak cabinets. The paint color needs to be light enough that you don't darken the room too much. Take a look at these bathrooms that have oak cabinets. Pale greens or blue/greens will look great.

mafa2004 Here is the bathroom with SW tidewater - not sure if a better color would be better or a second coat.

olldbobbi Second coat, always. I know it's a bummer, but.....

auroracanby I'd still vote for Ethereal Mood, but at least it's not Ecru. That band of white(?) tile around the shower
tile is a nice touch.
