Idea for an empty space.

I had this space of wall between my two windows in my dining room,I decided to put this dried floral vase there, instead of a typical picture frame.

I am not sure the distance between the two windows but the vase looks lost and out of place there. What about a small console table with a mirror above to balance the table? I hope this helps.

I think console tables with mirrors are a little old fashiomed, my parents had one everywhere there was an empty space, the way the dining are is set up,I think it's a nice touch,I also added black bamboo to the arrangement since my dining table is expresso.

After viewing a number of your B& A's - can see you go for "less is best" - this is nice arrangement and if you add a rug under the dining table as someone suggested - it will stand out!

Thank you I made it myself..ha,ha,..a picture frame wouldn't give me the height I wanted for the wall.

Yes i think with a bit more warming up and maybe some of the advice from experts on here (I'm certainly not one!) you could make the spaces you have shared really special and unique. It seems to me you have a good start. I have just started a huge reno and love all the great tips from the pros. Happy decorating

No I don't think floating shelves work in a dining room

Maybe a long vertical black mirror- try IKEA mirrors they are nice and look very elegant.

Maybe 3 small mirrors vertically placed.......http://www.target.com/p/threshold-starburst-mirror-set-3-pieces/-/A-14373540#prodSlot=medium_1_4&term=set+of+3+wall+mirror

Great arrangement but it does seem a little "Low". What about sitting it on a simple square pedestal to give it a little height ?

One other thing that you could consider is just replacing the white blinds with wooden roman shades to tie that natural element into the windows. Your arrangement is nice and seems to go very well with your decor and I think you are basically happy with it ? So, just enjoy!

I want to apologize, When I initially commented on your post, for some reason, I thought you were looking for suggestions. Now that I look again, I can clearly see you never asked for suggestions! Your arrangement does occupy the space nicely!
