olldbobbi You could use the same color paint on the walls (or have it reduced) and keep with the same furniture/decor style. Is that what you mean?

AMN Just pick a color that is used in other parts of the house and incorporate it in the new room through paint and fabrics. Continue with a similar style when it comes to furnishings and finishes in the new room, and make sure the architectural style of the new room is consistent with the existing.
