cjohnston It's a very attractive ensemble. I think the height, color, and more elaborate tufting of the host and hostess chairs nicely distinguish them from the side chairs.

acornacchia Went searching for area rug and all that I could find that I really like was this.... Would all these pieces work??

cjohnston I can't tell the scale of the patterned rug in relation to the furniture, but the colors seem to work well together.

Interiors International, Inc. I hate to be the one negative. I do not think that is your best choice. If you could at least find arm chairs for the end it would be much better.

Keitha I hated to be the "wet blanket" too but I do agree with Interiors that you need something a little different for the head chairs. I love the arm chairs that you recommend LB but am a little concerned about the curves of this style in contrast to the sharp angle of the other chairs. Along these lines but a little more angular maybe ???
