Colour for Dining room
I'm ready to remove the wallpaper and re-paint my dinning room but am at a loss for what colour. The remainder of the house is done in a neutral taupe tone. I've got a set of curtains that we like but don't know what colour would look best. Thought about doing a red but thinking that might be to much for the room - its' about 9x10 and 8's ceilings. It does get a lot of light from the large east facing window.

ASVInteriors I always find dining rooms are great statement rooms! I would definitely encourage the red. A deep red that almost matches your curtains. At night, this room will have drama and add incredible elegance. But it takes a leap of faith! However, my only warning is that you need to find a tone that works well in the daytime so try paint swatches. Sometimes red can seem a bit dull or pinky or purpley in the daytime so you need to understand its composition before you commit to the full room. Best of luck.
