nononanna It appears that your style is a little traditional for the primary colors - maybe jewel tones? It would looks like the perfect canvas for chinoiserie - does that interst you at all? A mix of blue and white with maybe one of the incredibly colorful chinoiserie toiles? Too traditional?

Lkristine What a nice room you have! Here is a paint color idea, as well as some window panels/decorative pillow ideas. You possibilities are absolutely endless. I do think it would look awesome to bulk up the fireplace with white trim to match what is currently there so the tv doesn't look like it's just floating there once you mount it. lbara Thanks for all your input. Not sure about the chinoserie theme. Also, I am trying to steer away from is being too monochromatic with more beige. I am very interestd in adding bolder pops of color, like the pillows suggested above. And I really like the first curtain pic with the grey wall - that is the type of grey i am interested in... You've been very helpful and keep the suggestions coming!
