Need help floating furniture in a small great room
This is the layout of our new greatroom. I'm struggling to figure out how to furnish it. We only have one long solid wall, and I'd like to use that for our TV (I'm not a huge fan of TVs over the fireplace), so we're going to have to 'float' all of our furniture. So I'm trying to figure out how to maximize our seating space without making the room feel cramped or not leaving enough walk room. I'd love to hear some ideas!

pybo As you have tv and fireplace on two different wall, you will need to decide which one you want as your focal point, then arrange your furniture accordingly.

What about right side sectional with chaise facing the fireplace (along long wall).
Ottoman for additional sitting, accent chairs in front of both fireplace and tv. These pieces are easy to manueur around and flexible enough to rearrange anyway you pleased.

geoi Keep in mind that you only need 18-20 inches of walking space between furniture pieces. Most often we think that 3-4 feet if better. Fine if you have it like that but if not, less that 2 feet works. One tip that helps is to use a large area rug to help define your seating area. Place at least the front legs of furniture pieces on the rug to create a cohesive space.
Agreeing with the comment above, a cornered sectional or sectional with chaise helps utilize both focal points.

Dytecture This is a good sized great room. I would place the main sofa facing the fireplace, and a loveseat perpendicular looking at the TV wall on the right.
