The Color People Paint the wrought iron a very dark color. We all know wrought iron is black, right? So white always makes it look cheap and you loose the strength of the material.. Black, however, is pretty dead so thing about a black- green, a black Blue or something similar. It will still feel black but have more nuance. Make sure to use a hight gloss paint. You might have to adjust the door color to go with the color you have chosen for the iron, or use the same color. Paint the garage door a tan color similar to the brick so it doesn't draw so much attention to itself and allows the attention to go to the entry where it should be. Also paint the little mettle balcony above the garage the same color.
I would also use an off white for the windows and cornices and use a dark color for the fascias and gutters- this will kind of finish the house and make have a more complete feeling.
