twylahaj Painting cabinets is a colossal pain, but it is far, far less costly than replacing or refacing. It's going to be a bit of a challenge to get those crevices sanded, but if you're patient they would look lovely in either color. Make sure to take off all hardware before starting. That includes taking the doors off the hinges. Painting in place doesn't work for cabinets... Spray paint will probably work better for these doors because of the texture, but make sure to use several light coats to avoid drips and also to avoid filling those lines with paint.

auroracanby I love them the way they are, but since you don't -- how about the same color as the window trim? And a couple of black knobs.

4resas Personnel opinion- it looks like the trim on the adjacent window is white, it would bug me if the cabinets were off white.

Jemden Interiors Yes I would paint them white. They will look fantastic. You can also send out doors to be spray painted by professionals and it shouldn't be that expensive.

Bentley Design The wood appears to be oak, just remember that the grain of the wood will still show .

King's Koatings You can use a heavier bodied primer like oil and use multiple coats. Sand in in between coats to help fill the grain. You won't be able to get rid of all of it, but most of it. Works best and looks nicer with sprayed application. I would not attempt trying to fill the grain with a filler on the louvered style doors. You'll go nuts before you finish. Good luck.
