Need help for my bathroom!
Just got a double "wave" sink vanity--about 77" in length. Mainly light brown with cream, dark brown specks. Had to do this in order to go with the porcelain tiled floor and surround on the ultratub. Cannot redo the tile. Have nice stained brown wood doors/trim in whole house. Problem: have to take down the green wallpaper, want to paint old oak cabinets, and have to paint the very expensive mirror frame. The frame is gold trimmed (went from gold faucets to brushed nickel). The inside of the frame is brownish/red/gold kind of oriental. The adjoining bedroom is yellow and steel gray with expresso furniture. Do I go expresso or light/dark cabinets? What paint color for walls? Or do I try to find a wallpaper that would go with that countertop and floor. I really like grays, expresso, yellows, greens. No blue, red, or white please. I do like contemporary looks. Thought about a few large stripes on the wall. Thanks for any comments, suggestions. I can take the heat if you don't like something!

Dar Eckert With the color of the counter you could do grays, taupes & creams. I would suggest painting the cabinet taupe and then go with mid-gray for the walls. As for the mirror frame either sell it on Craig's list or get someone to silver leaf it or just paint it silver.

Dytecture I vote for darker cabinets with a neutral cream wall color.
