Need ideas
Need ideas for the sides of the floral piece. I was thinking some mirrors.

Dytecture I agree, pictures or mirrors would be nice.

bkrnana6 Yes, picture or mirror. Could you use your sconce with silk flowers in a bathroom somewhere over say
the stool area?

ASVInteriors The moment I saw this room I was reminded of Charles Renee Mackintosh - google his name and then look at images. If you like it enough, incorporate either a picture of some his work or some Macintosh-like mirrors
I agree with both bkrnana6 an dytech but there are two solutions that I can see

1. The first is to move the floral piece to one side nearer the curtains and place a mirror above the side table.
2. The second is to leave it as is and add two long mirrors either side
Here is a site that might be of interest

agossage Other side of the room. Any ideas? Not really wanting to add another table to the other side.

olldbobbi How about a pair of buffet lamps? [houzz=Metra Twin Buffet Lamp]

DIAspoton the traditional florals and window treatments in the room are fighting the contemporary furniture style, lighting and rug. you could replace the wall floral with a sunburst mirror. look for 2 angular containers to go on either side of the server. arrange 6'-7' tall branches or bamboo in them. you could even spray paint the bamboo a very bright unrelated color for a shock of mod.
an updated curtain with no scarf would pull it all together.

Jean Tuck Maybe some mirrored scones either side of flower sconces, but personally, i would NOT change one thing.
