Vanity Size in a Tight Space
Original Vanity in this space was 42 inches where there is is 42.5 inches from the wall on left to the column on right. Attached picture shows a floating vanity at 42 inches (Option 1) and the second is a smaller at 39 inches (Option 2) such that if I ever want to paint the left wall i can get a small roller in there. I am building the vanity, so it can be another size if the suggestion makes sense. Thanks!

Marie Hebson's interiorsBYDESIGN Inc. I'd put the vanity from corner to corner customize it tight to each wall. For me its about things dropping down the side, rather than the once every two or three years when I want to paint.

I'd als0 add mosaic tile so you never have to paint tight into the corner. Plus, you should be using a brush to paint into the corners anyway, so it pretty much a mute point.

Dezign Studio Inc Normally if a vanity has doors and is between two walls then it is advisable to have it slightly smaller then the space to have fillers on either side, so doors can open smoothly. Then the c.top can go from wall to wall. So vanity could be 40" centered with an inch of filler on either side and a 42" or 42.5"c.top.

LB Interiors Above good advice. I agree.

Dytecture I would fill that wall to make it go straight up and vote for spanning the vanity the entire length.
