Need help hanging curtains!
Victoria Ricca
February 13, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I am trying to figure out how far from the ceiling to hang curtains. I have 8 ft ceilings. One room has no moulding and the second room has 3 5/8" crown.

How far from ceiling or crown should the rod be installed to maximize the appearance if ceiling height?

And where are reasonable places for curtains that you can get multiple lengths?

Thank you all!!!!

The higher the better! Don't let the hardware actually touch the ceiling, but other than that, put'em up high! It will make your ceilings feel taller and your drapes more luxurious.
