HAVE TO SELECT KITCHEN FAUCET WITH BAY WINDOW LEDGE IN FRONT OF SINK

HAVE A 9 INCH SPACE FROM GRANITE TOP ONCE INSTALLED TO TOP OF BAY WINDOW LEDGE. ANY THOUGHTS ON WHETHER TO GO WITH LOW FAUCET OR DOES IT MATTER? I WAS USED TO HAVING THE FAUCET HEIGHT BELOW THE HORIZON WITH MY LAMINATED COUNTERTOP BUT NOW WITH THICKER GRANITE THE SPACE IS ONLY 9 INCHES OF HEIGHT. PLEASE HELP
