Can I fit a separate bath and shower in an 8 x 8 room?
I want to remodel my master bathroom to house a separate shower from bathtub (currently it is a showerbath). I would like to have a double vanity (or at least two basins) and toilet. Is this possible?

Twisted Minds Custom Designs If your exisitng tub is 60" long, you could place the toilet next to the tub with a 2x4 wall separating which would still leave you in the 30" code minimum width to place toilet, on opposite wall you could have a 54" double vanity with enough space for a 2x4 showerwall, and a 40" x 32" stand alone shower, which would leave you an approx. 34" of floor space in middle of room, where you could place a 32" doorway in wall to enter. It will feel cramped, but it can be done. If at all possible can you steal some room from master bedroom to allow for a larger master bath seeing as you are planning a remodel?
