Lori A. Sawaya linderella the dark cabs are new. I know because anyone who's had open space under a cabinet or one of those drop vanities want it all gone after living with them for about a minute. PITA they are. Love the switch up from white to a rich stain. Def upgrade.

tildeleigh I have this footprint with open space in the middle. I would love to replace it with drawers, such a waste of space. I don't leisurely sit to apply make up - I don't live in Downton Abbey! Nice to see how it would look to have dark cabs. The contrast with the counter looks great. The above counter cab is great too.

Dixie Henrie Pkoko624 What would be your goal with the open area? Sitting to put on makeup? Most people like to get closer to their mirror than that allows or they maneuver around with hair styling, sink, makeup . . . I can really only see it being an advantage for the elderly lady who can't stand very long.
