Need help with backsplash choice
We recently renovated our kitchen. The cabinets are cloud white and the counter is "raven" by caesarstone. I love the look of marble tiles, but think they may be too "cool" any suggestions would be great.

LizaJane Without seeing the countertop of know what colors are in the rest of your home makes this difficult. You could really do anything. What do you like?

joannepaul The colour of the walls is natural linen by BM. The floor is dark ash, with gray undertones.

Interiors International, Inc. I like the marble tile idea. I don't feel it would look to cool. It is such a classic look. Or did you mean COOL as a posed to cold. Because I think it would look COOL meaning really neat.

kmvisioli I think the marble tile would give a clean, classic look. If you're worried about it looking too cold, you could add pops of color by setting out flowers in a bright vase, other bright accessories (maybe a small rug or mat), or changing out your blinds for a fabric roman shade or wood blinds (something that plays nicely with your floors).

Natural Stone Veneers International, Inc. NSVI offers a dimensional drystacked product in two hue ranges, earthy and cool. I only have backsplash photos showing warm earthy version, but here are links to thumbnails for both products... click on either with your mouse and it will enlarge on your screen: http://www.nsvi.com/stones.iml?Cat=22
