Updated Bookcases and Mantel
Early 90's home purchased last July. Dated architectural elements drove a whole house renovation.
Bookcases and mantel reworked to a more traditional look. Small book case removed on right side.

Paradise Restored Landscaping & Exterior Design Again the chairs facing away from fireplace baffle me - we live in the Northwest and I've yet to use this viewpoint - the work is well done and appreciate the details you've changed.

Granite Grannies Nice. The switch from curves to strong straight lines really adds some definition.

ASVInteriors I like that you use your armchairs facing away from the fireplace. You can always turn them around when you want to sit and read and snuggle near - but if you have other features like a beautiful view, let that be your focal point most of the time.

Brown Bros. Masonry Nice job with the mantle. Beautiful work. Helps draw your attention to the fireplace as focal point on that wall.

Studio S Squared Architecture, Inc. Wow, that original mantel was something else...nice job working with the original slab surround.

White Van Real Estate Services, L.P. Southern CA You certainly did bring it up to the 21st century by removing the dated archway and finishing off the mantel. Nice choices on decor as well. Great job!
