Need ideas for decorating a wall
I have a large wall (cathedral ceiling/slanting down) that I can't think of a decoration solution. Part of the problem is that there is a corner sectional that divides the wall space above it. If I put pictures or something centered over the sofa, I have the highest part is the wall too blank. It needs something also.
Ideas welcomed!!!

Lydia Why not just hang a tall almost overbearing piece of artwork next to the couch then you won't need anything above it.

cypress If you place a tall piece of furniture, such as a book case to the left of the sofa, it would balance the artwork you place over the sofa.

hopesilver Hang a long wall hanging, or a kimono on the long wall area and something smaller, maybe three small pieces above the sofa.

Barnhart Gallery Hi hoylear -- While I'm not sure whether it's there for painting, or if it's really wood as it looks in the photo, I like your ladder! I think it creates some rhythm and separation from the couch and the bookcase I've added. It also frames out a spot for a large piece of art over the sectional.

decoenthusiaste Find or make something to fill some of the space. This is a good spot for a vignette with a small table and chair with lamp and wall piece.
