decoenthusiaste Try two sofas facing each other at the fireplace with the secretary on the wall directly opposite the FP to counter balance its visual weight.You need a large area rug that both sofas can sit on. A coffee table goes between them. By the window add two armchairs with a table and lamp. In the corner where the oval mirror is now, put a tall bookcase and an armchair with a floor lamp for a reading corner. I can't see the other corner, but it could probably use a console with the mirror and a lamp.
Take more pics with better light (not a phone cam) so we can really see what is going on with the room for better suggestions
