Porcelains floor tile
I just purchased porcelain for my floor. However I was wondering what is the best position to position the tiles. Any suggestions or photos.

Thanks

olldbobbi Are you asking about herringbone, brick style or stacked? Not sure what you mean, sorry!

olldroo Please post photos of your room and the tiles you selected, it is very hard to know otherwise.

ASVInteriors It all depends what you are trying to achieve
A modern look stacks them up in columns, more traditional is to stagger them 1/2 or 1/3 (can't find image quickly) or you can go vertical:

ASVInteriors In fact, enter tile pattern under bathrooms in Houzz - and the world is your oyster - people are pretty imaginative!!!

ASVInteriors sorry Bobbi, my bad - However you can do the same for floors!
I have laid tile in straight lines, staggered at 1/3 and 2/3 style and even in herringbone.
In a grid pattern is very modern, staggered is more traditional.
If your room is narrow, you can place your tiles perpendicular to the entry to widen it out (Horizontal lines in front of you); for more depth, you can place them parallel to the longest wall....

olldbobbi I think we need to know more about your tiles....are they square? rectangular? Because personally I wouldn't do square tiles in a brick pattern, but that's just me.
