Livingroom
I am just starting and therefore I have no photos. My main wall is grey and accent wall is black. What accent colour can I use. I thought white or taupe, but I am undecided. Any help would be welcomed, thx

olldbobbi Are you asking about an accent color for furniture? Accessories? Area rug? And it sounds like you're looking for a monochromatic look, is that right?

Personally I wouldn't add taupe to a gray and black room. I would add as many shiny accessories as would fit: [houzz=Mercury-Glass Vases]
[houzz=Jamie Young St. Croix Mercury Glass Small Table Lamp Base, Plum Linen Shade]
[houzz=Red Mercury Glass Pillar Holders]
[houzz=Felicity Mercury Table Lamp]

Dytecture I agree, try adding a more 'cheerful' color for contrast and interest.
