Help for trey in LR
just painted LR in Bread Basket (Valspar Signature). Had been Cinninnatian Hotel Vander Rd (Valspar) which is the color left on the bottom part of trey. Dilemma is this: I want to paint the inside of trey for some contrast. Do I paint lighter color in bread basket tones, do I paint over the cinnamon color there now with a semi gloss white to make it appear to be a huge crown molding look and paint the cinnamon on trey ceiling or go a more taupe? BTW, replacing 48" ceiling fan with 60". Thanks! All ideas wanted:)

AMN I guess it depends on personal preference. I don't think I would want to call attention to the ceiling. I would paint it white or lighten Bread Basket to a very, very pale shade and paint the strip with the lightened color.
