Help with countertop and backsplash choice for kitchen reno
We are planning a kitchen reno - the cabinets will be shaker style in Dove white - I really like the Calacutta polished 2 x 4 for backsplash and we looked at the Black Cambrian Satin granite. We would also consider a light option for the counter top but not sure if it would be enough contrast? I've attached a photo of our floor. We're thinking a grey beige for the walls - any suggestions would help thanks!

I suggest mini mosaic glass tile: Model #GLST0101GLASGLAC the darkest square is actually mirror, You could add a strip of it between the Calcutta as it It will add sparkle to your contemporary kitchen.

Fiorano Tile Showrooms Your idea is great. BTW: The image you posted has the 'light' countertop...if you like that, you can use it as well. (Fiorano Tile Showrooms)

shawnabaker Thanks - the mosaic is pretty and yes -Nellie loves having her picture taken!
We would consider Quartz if we went with the lighter - I just haven't found a light one that looks "natural"
