What color should I paint my front door?
Our house is a white washed brick with dark brown-reddish roof. The front entrance has travertine floors that match the hues of the bricks and has a single door, currently it's stained dark honey , we are interested in painting the door a contrast color,it's dark already so I will post pictures tomorrow, here is a pic of the lanai that shows the brick and the floor color, but does anyone with a good eye have any recommendations?

mdamron61 A walnut color. This would tie into the browns in the floor tiles. Beautiful room!

Meagan A darker stain/paint will have the most contrast from the travertine and brick! I agree w/ "lion". A deep, rich brown, would look fantastic. If you like the cherry stain, which a lot of people do, that wouldn't look bad either, especially since your roof has some red tones. Black would look great as well! That would be a more contemporary approach. With that said, if your decorating style is more traditional/old world, try staying with the warmer browns/cherry tones!
