Need help with dining area fireplace

I m trying to make this modern corner fireplace but the architect is saying that the hallway with this corner is 4 ft so don't make this corner fireplace instead make fireplace on the wall i hope u guys can understand what i m trying to ask. Plz suggest what should i do

Any suggestions is the hallway too narrow to get a corner fireplace ?
