Tips on choosing hardware for my new kitchen and bathroom cabinets?
Should I go darker (dark bronze) or lighter (i.e., brushed nickel)? The cabinets are maple, furniture grade, a little darker than saddle. The appliances in the kitchen will be stainless steel. Sorry, no pics yet, soon to be installed. I realize they can be changed if I don't like the look, but I would like to get this right the first time. Just looking for general info.

DIAspoton what color floor and walls? is it a fairly dark or bright room? best way is to buy sevearl styles and colors and try 1 of each in the room. i like knobs on top and pulls that won't catch clothing on the bottom.

janie82056 The wall colors haven't been decided yet. Floor color is 8" tile planks in a color named "Alpine Beech". Thanks for the suggestions!
