What color would you paint the walls going upstairs
Kitchen is a beige. Refer to pics for how the stairs tie into the kitchen. Carpet will be replaced with a beige as well.

decoenthusiaste A much lighter version of the kitchen color. I like to work those color strips to pieces!

BY DESIGN Builders One or two shades lighter than the kitchen. The reason for this is that if you paint the same color as the kitchen it will look a shade or two darker because of the confined space and different lighting.
I cannot tell you how many times people have selected one color for all walls and then at the end of the project they insist the walls look to have two different colors depending upon which wall they are seeing.
Paint sheen is important too. The flatter the sheen the more true the color appears. The shinier the sheen the more the color will appear different due to light reflection.
