Need help with this wasted space in my living room
This is a bookshelf in our living room bit it is really too deep for books. As you can see it ends up being a catch all for odds and ends.

ASVInteriors Oh wow! Perfect to make lemons out of lemonade! Add a return at the back of each shelf, thus reducing your shelf width. Remove everything, add bowls or vases with unusual shapes. Then run rope lighting along the back and you can turn everything into silhouette at night. You can even try adding opaque plexiglass and cut it and slip it in the return for a more diffuse effect.
