What paint colors should I use to re do these rooms.
I have to keep all furnishings and drapes which have burgundy tops, I painted the wall brown and red and hate it. Also it goes into my kitchen . I am lost on this one help!

mdamron61 I would stick with one color. Maybe a light slate color or lean towards a yellowish gold.

Toni Sabatino Hi beckiclamp, I think I would start by painting the brown wall cream like the light pillow on the couch. Then you can reassess the red. It could be a fun accent. It looks as though you have wood floors in a mahogany type color. You could also use a cream colored area rug o tie the space together.

rinqreation Try metallic bronze, gold or red copper on the brown. Some beige or white on the arch-wall (back to neutral). Or both bronze.

Keitha I agree with Genevieve that your photo color combo looks very creative and interesting. Maybe you could just add a new more contemporary lamp, some other pops of red...is there room for a red chest to the left of the window? Remove the flowers that are currently around the beautiful mirror, lower the mirror and center it above the section of your sofa that is against the brown wall.
