Need help with sunroom
I am renovating this north facing sunroom and would appreciate any ideas. The swatches on the fireplace are fabric choices for new sectional which will be placed on the only available wall. My idea is for a white coffered ceiling with potlights, engineered floor in a semi-rustic dark cedar or walnut and charcoal walls. the pic doesn't show the california shutters which are on 4 windows (exact same size and location on the other side of the room) and on the patio door in between. The room is 22' x 11'. This is a high traffic well used room. I mainly need help with the TV. Thinking of corner built-ins with room for bench seating.

decoenthusiaste Open the shades and take a picture we can see, please. Shoot all four walls, moving clockwise around the space. Post them here, not on a new post. Thanks.

vgatenby Just an FYI, everything in this room is going other than the fireplace, TV and George...the dog. I attached pics of the rest of the space. Its a very small narrow room as you can see. An additional problem is with a place for coats. I am also thinking of an armoir where the current mirror is hanging.

decoenthusiaste Let me ask what is your favorite color? Is it a pastel or intense? Will the carpet be replaced? Have you thought about furniture - indoor or outdoor style? What will you use the room for, TV, games, meals, back entry, kids play, etc.?

vgatenby Thank you decoenthusiaste for your response...looking forward to hearing your thoughts. This room doesn't reflect my taste at all. Presently I am really liking dark, rich colours....eg. my bathroom is done in Benjamin Moore - Willow with white and silver accents. The main living area (upstairs) is done in Carmel Apple. I also like orange or celery green (more as accents than wall colour). I am thinking of charcoal for the walls in this room with off-white ceiling and mouldings. The fireplace front most likely a medium shade of grey (still mulling over this though) and medium toned engineered hardwood floors. The area rug near the door is a taupey grey with black throughout which I will repurpose in the room. I am thinking of a sectional (indoor furniture) by Decor-rest which is approx. 10' x 7', has a cuddler on one and the fabric I am looking at is quite close to the colour of the grey in the rug. (the rug is 10 x 7). My style is more or less classic / traditional / transitional. The room is used for entertaining, TV, back entry. Kids are teens. The patio door leads to a pergola and outdoor bar area which is done in cedar and grey. A lot of traffic through those doors. Just as a side...I really dislike the chair rail and trim around the windows which will most likely be replaced. The computer and old desk will be moved to the corner near the entry door where the coat tree is presently. That area in back of the chair is 11 x 6. There is a sofa table under the mirror which is 38" wide. The room appears biggar than it looks in the pic. Sorry this was so lengthly but maybe this will give you a better picture. I will share my idea book so you can see the styles I like.
